Bury Cycle Speedway Club

Bury continue to make heavy weather of their pre-season training with several riders missing once again. Thee opening match is two weeks away, at Hull in the Northern Alliance league. Hopefully all the teams will be available for an always difficult match.
Good news on another front, Bury's well worn cabin is due to be replaced this week, the old one due to a variety of causes was just not suitable and with a grant available , the club has managed to secure a replacement. More news on that next week.
Good Friday sees the riders tackle their annual charity event, when they take to the road to raise money for a local charity. Always a well attended event, and hopefully no repeat of last years accident when 3 riders knocked each other off.
