Bury made the long journey to Hull to race in the first 4s evcent of the season. A terrible day, freezing cold and pouring with rain didn't make for a great spectacle. Neil Howarth looked favourite to take race 1, but spun at the start to finish third. Ben Scranage slipped up inj his first race finishing second. He made amends with a super race in the 6th, passing all 3 opponents for a great win. Mike Parrish and Chris Dyson made their 2008 debuts, but were clearly not match fit. John Lindovic raced at reserve and ended with 4 races as bury lost to last years Champions Stoke and Heckmondwike.

Bury's new cabin now looking good after a coat of paint, increasing the Goshen facilities. Still to be fully kitted out but more resilient tham its predecessor.

Sunday the 20th, see a Northern Alliance fixture at home to Heckmondwike.
