How to submit news

We've now made it easier than ever to get your club's news on the website.

Follow these 3 simple steps.
1. Register a free account on the site.
2. Click the 'Submit Your News' link at the bottom of the site.
3. Fill in the online form and hit 'Submit'.

Please note: There may be a short delay of a couple of minutes before you will see your article on the website.

How to fill in the form.
1. Enter a title for the story.
2. Enter a short paragraph in the 'Abstract' box. This is a brief teaser that is shown above the 'Full Story' link on the main page.
3. Choose a category for your story. If your club's category isn't shown then use 'Other Sports' and we'll create a new category for you.
4. If you have a photo to go with your story then you can upload it using the 'Abstract Image' box. Don't worry about resizing the image first, the website will automatically resize your photo when you're done.
5. Enter a caption for your photo.
6. Enter the rest of your story in the main text box.
7. When you're finished, click on 'Submit'.

Note that although you don't need to upload an photo with your story, only stories submitted with a photo can appear in the scrolling main headline box on the front page of the site.

Please follow these guidelines for the submission of news.
1. No personal attacks on people.
2. No swearing.
3. No abuse of opponents, officials or any other third party.
4. Ensure your story is factually correct.
5. If you quote somebody, please include their name and position.
6. If you're story deals with junior sports, please do not upload a photo unless the parents permission to take and then use the photo in the public domain was granted first.
7. Even if permission was granted from the parents, please do not caption the photo with the name of the child/children. An example caption in this case would be 'Team X under 14's squad'.
8. Please check your spelling. You can always create your story in a word processor first and then copy and paste it in to the submit news page.
9. If you have an existing website, your may add a link to your site at the bottom of your story.

Please refer to the above when commenting on articles. Any offensive comments will be removed.
