PRESTWICH ANNOUNCE VIRAJ PERERA AS NEW PRO'

Prestwich Cricket Club can now confirm we have completed the signing of Viraj Perera and he is joining Prestwich for the 2008 season.

All the formalities eg 'Work Permit' have now been successfully completed.

On behalf of all at Prestwich, we would like to extend a warm welcome to Viraj whom we are all looking forward to meeting.

Viraj by reputation is a hard hitting stroke player who also bowls offspin.

We would also like to take the opportunity of thanking Paul Tebay at 'Cricket World' in Bolton for all his help is securing our professional for 2008.
